Tooling Mechanic

Use knowledge and experience of tool fabrication techniques in support of soft and hard tooling requirements. This includes master model fabrication, bond tool fabrication, trim tools, drill tools, and apply templates and caul sheets. This requires the ability to read and understand blueprints for new tool fabrication and have the ability to plan new tooling concepts for build to print or tooling from sample parts. Will use experience with; soft tooling, plaster splashes, wet lay-up, composites, fiberglass, and graphite lay-up to build tooling as needed.

Manufacturing Division Manager

The Manufacturing Division Manager is responsible for supervising all manufacturing activities at the operating level and to achieve effective and efficient use of facilities and personnel as well as conformance to schedules and budgets. Implementing production of all products, integrating engineering projects into the regular operating process. Works with the Controller and/or President to develop operating budgets. Monitors all production reports to ensure achievement of financial, safety, quality, and on-time delivery goals. Organizes the management talent base for efficient operations. Directs and assists Sales/Marketing in the pursuit of new and existing business opportunities. Coordinates and monitors plans for reductions in cost and product lead times for existing and new products. Directs the implementation of advanced technology to aid in reaching production goals. Assists in the direction of major facilities development. Reports to the President on a regular basis. Works closely with that officer and other management to establish long-range operating goals and expansion. Communicates business objectives and current performance to team members. Provides an environment that stimulates and motivates team members May evaluate and disposition nonconforming products and materials in accordance with established procedures and work instructions. May participate in Contract Review activities

Education and Training

The Manufacturing Division Manager should have a bachelor’s degree.

Technical Requirements

Ten years of experience in industrial management

Excellent verbal and written skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Ability to motivate team efforts to accomplish goals.

Managerial Experience

The Manufacturing Division Manager should have five or more years experience managing a department in a manufacturing environment.

1st Article/Master Mechanic

For first articles and one off production in growing international aerospace company. Industry experience and familiarity with sheet metal fabrication is required. Additional experience with composite lay-up and fabrication a plus. A&P mechanics preferred. Must be able to use precision tools and have the ability to read blueprints. Requires a minimum of 5 years current aerospace composite experience.


Industrial Engineer

The Industrial Engineer is responsible for conducting studies related to work methods including time studies and process improvement. The Industrial Engineer is responsible for studies relating to work methods and process improvements. Other duties would include plant layouts or layout of work stations, in order to improve process flow and efficiencies. Responsibilities include estimating labor standards for new or current products. The Engineer also provides product structures including bills of materials and routing sheets.

Education and Training

The Industrial Engineer should have a bachelor’s degree.

Technical Requirements

Three to five plus years experience in the capacity of Industrial Engineer.

Mechanics

Repairs aircraft and bonded structures according to blueprints and specifications. Reads and interprets blueprints in order to determine type of repair and tools required. Examines structure to determine location, nature, and extents of defect or damage. Manufactures new bonded structures in accordance with engineering drawings, process specifications, and planning documents. Fabricates, assembles, reworks and repairs bonded structures. Manufactures new parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings, process specifications, and planning documents. Assembles aircraft parts following blueprints and specifications.

Education and Training

The Mechanic should have a high school degree. Must have familiarity with fabrication of skins, doublers and forming detail parts.

Technical Requirements

The Mechanic must have a mechanical aptitude, the ability to use precision tools, and the ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, process specifications, and planning documents.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.

NDT Laboratory Technician

Perform a variety of lab tasks that include; chemicals, mechanical destructive and non-destructive testing, (e.g., lap shears, roller peels, drum peels, paint adhesion testing, etc.) and recording of results. May perform other testing using common laboratory equipment and measuring devices. Will work with chemicals including analysis and disposal. Must be able to read and interpret technical specifications. Previous experience in a lab is preferred. Must be able to lift 60 pounds and move large barrels. The Laboratory Tech is responsible for:
Completing records generated by the Laboratory. Performing material recertification’s as required. Perform mechanical testing (e.g. lap shears, roller peels, drum peels, paint adhesion testing, hardness testing, etc.)
May coordinate needed testing with outside laboratories. Monitor shelf life program for Laboratory Standards. Maintaining SPC Log for chemical analysis. Maintain MSDS books. Testing and disposal of expired materials. Complete testing reports. Be active in Quality Reviews of laboratory. Reads and interprets technical specifications. Maintains logs of facility monitoring equipment (temperature and humidity charts). Help maintain Nadcap compliance in Laboratory
Other tasks assigned as needed by the Laboratory Supervisor/Manager
Perform SPC as directed. Requires training.

Education and Training

High School diploma
Practical lab experience, prefer aerospace or equivalent training/experience
Read, write, speak and understand English
Good computer skills

Must be able to read and interpret technical specifications
Must be able to use common laboratory equipment and measuring devices

Quality Engineer

Tulsa Aerospace Company seeking a Quality Engineer reporting to Director of Quality. We are seeking a team player with a proven record of continual improvement accomplishments. Must demonstrate solid skills in communication, interpersonal relations, and an ability to inspire individuals to improve performance. Candidate will train others and interact with cross-functional groups, customers, suppliers, and outside auditors. Must have excellent analytical and mechanical skills, be computer literate and have a familiarity with a variety of software applications. Must have experience with multiple quality methodologies including Problem-Solving, TQM, SPC, ISO9000, Lean Mfg, Six Sigma. Must be able to analyze existing manufacturing processes for optimization i.e, measurable improvement in quality, efficiency, & cost reduction. Should be familiar with Aerospace specifications, inspection techniques, dimensional layouts, gages & fixturing. Green Belt Certification preferred. ASQ CQE preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Quality Management preferred.

3-6 years related experience required.

Physical requirements may include light lifting, bending, and standing for periods of time.
